Structure

The Alliance for Lung Cancer Excellence is structured as an voluntary agreement among physicians to create and support the Lung Cancer Program of Excellence  and agreement between the Alliance and  sponsoring institution(s) such as Huntsville Hospital Health Systems to support the program.

Physicians who join the Alliance agree to make every effort to improve the quality of care by expedited evaluations, development of consensus evaluation and management protocols , ongoing participation in patient centered multidisciplinary conferences, and where appropriate , participation in research to improve outcomes.

As a sponsoring institution, the Huntsville Hospital Health Systems have agreed to support the program in order to achieve these common goals.
